Moderation – A Key to Sanity!

Moderation is the key to increasing your sanity.

When sifting through any new trend in the health and wellness community, absolutes make for crazy and moderation makes for “real life”. The parody with JP Sears makes that point in a dry awesome way. Now to be clear, we don’t eat a lot of gluten. But we can laugh at ourselves and realize that a little isn’t going to create metabolic derangement. All of us have been exposed to something that in large quantities could be extremely harmful to our health and in small quantities goes unnoticed. Take second-hand smoke for example. We’ve all been exposed to it at least once. While harmful, this occasional exposure is entirely different than smoking a pack a day.  Consider this when making drastic changes.

It’s also important to note that different people react differently. Even some people react differently over time. So… being your own laboratory for results is not only necessary, but the only way to know what is right for you.
